  1. I read the one on gilbert. I thought it was really good and cool. This was a great invention and its great that they figured something out to help people wih disabilities. Max is also one of the people who uses Key Strokes.

  2. I watched the video on Elina, who has atheiod Cerebral Palsy. The way she uses her computer in her life is very helpful, I think it's awesome that technology has things such as this to help people with disabilities communicate and use a computer, many people don't have the opportunity to use the computer because of their disability but when we have technology such as this it makes it possible. I think it's really neat she gets to use it

  3. i watched the video on Leigh-Anne who has cerebral palsy. She owns her own company :Graphics Afoot Studio Design. She draws using her right foot and to communicate and type things, AssistiveWare's KeyStrokes provided her with a full keyboard and word prediction. I think this is very neat how she got this far in life and i really admire her. She is able to do alomost anything using her computer which i think is amazing and very useful.

  4. Okay so I watched a video about Joe Barnick and how he uses his Mac and KeyStrokes for all the things he cannot do in the real world. I think that it is queit extrodinary what he can do with that. He was born with Spinal Muscular Atrophy, so he cannnot like generate his hands like we do. He has his righ arm in a elastic sling to move the mouse with a ball on it. His left hand is over a seperate clicker. I think that it is really cool what KeyStrokes has helped all these people that are not able to do these everyday tasks.

  7. I watched the video about Marie-France. It is so amazing to learn about all the cool inventions people use to help them overcome a disability. I just can't imagine what it was like for people with disabilities before we had this level of technology.

  8. I watched the video on Elina. She was born with Athetoid Cerebral Palsy. When Elina was 9, she got a computer, she uses it to write and draw. Elina uses a joystick to move her mouse around and then hits a button (kinda like Molly's head switch) to choose what she wants. She types with KeyStrokes on-screen keyboard and uses Proloquo for speech. Elina's computer means life to her. I think that the tecnology today is very cool and that it's wonderful for people with disabilities to be able to comunicate the best they can.

I saw the One Thumb to Rule them All video on the Assistive-Ware website. It was about guy named Mike Phillips who was born with spinal muscular atrophy. despite his disability, he is able to be a great gamer and freelance technology writer with a really cool thumb control called a Swith XS swifty, and I think this is great because it proves that people can do great things (with a little help). In conclusion, I think that video was really neat because we got to see Mike actually playing a game. I wish I had one of those thumb controls. That would be cool.

  10. I read the story about Jack. Jack has a rare progressive muscular disease, FOP. Jack designs websites on his apple computer. As Jacks disease became worse, it became harder for him to use a normal keypad. Thats when Jack switched to keystrokes, a virtual keyboard that you allows you to type with a computer mouse. I think that keystrokes is very helpful for Jack and without it he might not be able to go on a computer.

  11. I think its really cool that kids that cannot use their body to type can use a single finger or their brain to type. I read about Giesbert. He was a photographer and graic designer before he got into a car accident and hurt his spine. He now still writes with a KeyStroke, like max does.

  12. I watched Elina's video and Maire-France's video. I think they are both pretty amazing. Elina's joystick switch is really cool. I would love to use one. Her switch similar to Molly's head switch is used to make choices like Molly's toggle. She can scan through with her joystick and it scans very fast. She is really good at using word prediction and she seems very smart. I can tell she knows how to use her technology very well. Her sentences are perfect and she uses keystrokes very quickly. I think Maire-France's foot control is very interesting. I think it is also cool how she uses a real keyboard with her chin pointer.
