I love peer tutoring. I think it is such a great way to develop friendships with students and to help out and make a difference in someone's life. Many of the students in my Diehl's and Kripton's class don't have that kind of one on one time outside of school but once you start a friendship with them they get one on one time in class. It's so nice to have a class were you go in and have friends greeting you and it's awesome that you do it every day and get that relationship started. Being in peer tutoring has made my relationship with students stronger, perticularly Max. My question's are, What kind of activites do we have planned for the year? What field trips? Are 3rd period going to go to the zoo or musue m? would be fun! I think my favorite part is just being able to be with friends (students) and helping them out. It makes a difference to them, I know that they like hanging out with people that are outside of there classroom and they feel special when they recieve one on one help. I have never had peer tutoring until this trimester at Brooks. I wish I could have done it earlier though because it is really fun. I love making new friends in the class and it makes me feel good that im helping kids out my age. I don't think I have any questions because they were all answered in the packet you gave us. I think that peer tutoring is really fun. :) This is the first year that I have actually done it. My sister told me about it and i thought that it would be really fun. I quite enjoy it. Andrew is really nice i have know him since i was in 2nd grade we were in the same class and he has been as nice as now. Rebecca is really nice i want to get to get more aquanted with with her but she seems nice. Lorenzo is a really nice kid and very helpful. Kiarai is very polite and I can tell that she really likes fish. Max is very nice and very smart. Darnel I dont really know but he seems kind.
Peer Tutoring is an awesome experience. This will be my 4th trimester in the class. One of my best friends, Brigid Sullivan, was involved in peer tutoring and she encouraged me to join. I think that it is an awesome class. I have made great friends and had great experiences. This class is very rewarding, it requires patients but is all worth it in the end. I don't have any questions. My favorite part is free time I have to say. When the students turn in tickets they get to enjoy an activity of their choice. I love to laugh with them as they play the Wii and listen to music. This has to be on of my favorite classes and I am excited to be in the class yet another time. Katie Appell
I think peer tutoring so far is a great experience because I get to have fun with others and help kids with disabilities learn. I also think I will learn more throughout this experience. Peer tutoring is great. The only question I can really come up with is why everyone doesn't do peer tutoring. My favorite part of peer tutoring is meeting new friends. All the people I met through peer tutoring are awesome. To name a few, they include Lorenzo, Madeline, Andrew, and Becca (and of course, all the other kids).
I sort of forgot something in my blog post, I need to make an observation and provide details. Lorenzo likes to have fun and really likes the parrot toy. He turns it on and listens to the sounds it makes. I didn't know how to turn it on but then he showed me. There we go, all done!

This is my fist trimester doing peer tutoring but I think it is totally awesome! The students and teachers in the class are very friendly and helpful. Peer tutoring gives you a chance to learn more about the students and communicate in a variety of ways. Some of my favorite parts of peer tutoring are learning new things about communication devises and working one on one with the students. I don't have any questions yet. I love working on the computer with Molly and scanning through and choosing words with her and helping all of the kids with their work. (Especially math) :) (That was for Ms. Deihl) Peer tutpring also gives you a chance to become friends with the students. Lorenzo now (finally) knows who I am and he says hi to me in the halls every day. I'm so glad to be in peer tutoring. Olivia Lenzo
