Do a little bit of research, and find someone who is famous that has a disability! Name the person, and give some information about their disability, and why they were/are famous!
lincoln had a mood disorder witch doesnt really seem like a big problem but in some ways I geuss u could say that. lincoln was famous for being the president of the united states. you would think having that disorder would stop a president from making the right choices. lincoln was a very succesful president. Damon wayne who is the father on my wife and kids has club foot. Which is a disablity that you get at birth your whole foot is twisted you get it because the phisical apperance of the foot may very. Also the foot go's downward and upward. The treatment is basicly phisicall therpy you have to move your foot around and up and down and side to side. A famous person with a disability is David Beckham. David suffers from OCD he likes to be very clean and perfect. Only 2% of people have severe OCD, David being one of the rare people. He plays soccer for the Chicago Fire, and his OCD isn't noticed on the soccer field. he is an excellent soccer player and is well known around the U.S. Katie Appell

A famous person with a disability would be the actor, Ben Stiller. He has Bipolar disorder, which is actually what my paper is on. Bipolar disorder is when you have drastic changes from a high period[mania] and a low period[depression]. Walt disney had Dyslexia, a disability that is an inherited condition that makes it extremely difficult to read, write, and spell no matter how hard you try. It is considered a learning disability and many people with dyslexia have an average IQ. Dyslexia is usally first found in a child 6 or younger but can be found in an adult too. Dyslexia affects 10-20% of our population. You can not outgrow dyslexia either. Walt disney was the creator of Mickey Mouse and founder of Disneyland and Walt Disney World. He touched many hearts of people and children. He also was a cartoonalist. In 2005 there were 42.8 million visits to Disney WORLD in a year! Many people loved Walt Disney and even though he had a learning disability he became a very famous person!
Christopher Widdows (Steady Eddie) is an Australian comedian and actor. He is famous for using his disability (Cerebral palsy or CP), as the basis for is comedy. CP is characterized by abnormal muscle tone, posture such as slouching over while sitting, reflexes, or motor development and coordination. Widdows won a Young Australian Achievers Award for his comedy. Since then he has toured the UK, the USA, and Canada, released a CD and video, and won two MO Awards and an ARIA for Best Comedy Recording. -Rachel Fore
Magic Johnson, who was one of the best basketball players to ever life had aids. What is really special about Magic is that he really had a hard time with HIV or aids. And yet he was still maybe considered the best player to ever play the game of basketball. To me this is just amazing but people may have different opinions that I do. Johnson is 6-9 225 and is the biggest man ever to play the spot of point guard.
Wow, it turns out that a lot of famous people had Aspergers syndrome. Among them was Sir Isaac Newton, who dropped out of school because he thought that many of the rules were illogical (when you think about it, a lot of the rules kind of are.) Of course, he is still known today as one of the greatest scientists in history, along with Albert Einstien, who expanded apon and rethought many of his theories.
Almost half of the people in Hollywood have the dissorder i am writing about. My topic is substance abuse. Which can fall under alchol, drugs, prescription drugs, over the counter drugs, even caffine. I think there are too many to name just one person.
A famous person with a disability is Jay Leno. Jay Leno has mild dyslesia. Dyslexia is a learning disability that makes it hard to read and spell. The problem is inside a persons brain, but it doesn't mean the person isn't smart. Jay Leno mainly got C's and D's, but was deternined to accomplish his goals. He was determined to attend Emerson College in Boston, but the admissions officer told him that he wasn't a good canadate. Jay Leno had his heart set on going to the University, so he sat outside the admission officers’ office 12 hours a day 5 days a week until he was accepted into the University. Jay Leno is a a successful comedian. He used to host the "Tonight Show", and now has his own show called "The Jay Leno Show" Hannah Gorin
Vanessa Haarhorff is an artist who paints using her mouth. Vanessa was born in Zimbabwe. From the start, he was very enthusiastic about sports. She enjoyed swimming, tennis, and golf. She even won multiple trophies for her outstanding athletic abilities. She also loved music, and played the guitar and piano until a car accident that broke her neck. This happened in 2000, and not long after the accident, Vanessa began painting for the first time in her life. She greatly enjoys making art, and she studies political science no as well.
Helen keller was famous for being abel to cope very well with her disability, and being abel to get a good education even though she was blind and deaf and mute. Emily walker
